Information reviewed:
Clarity before choices.
No optional analytics or marketing scripts are included in this source. There are no fictional tracking categories to accept or reject. The meaningful choice here is whether the enquiry spam check loads automatically, asks first, or stays off while you use email instead.
- Preference storage
- Saving a choice writes
99bays.preferences.v1to local storage: mode and expiry only. It expires after 90 days and is removed on the next read. “Forget saved choice” removes it immediately. If storage is blocked, the choice applies only to the current page. - Cloudflare Turnstile
- Needed to send the online form; it cannot be bypassed. By default it waits for “Load enquiry spam check.” You can allow automatic loading or choose email instead. Provider cookies/device processing and their exact lifetimes require live deployment inspection; none are invented here.
- Website and demo storage
- Enquiry fields, concept outlines and checklist states are not saved by first-party scripts. The code sets no first-party cookies. Namecheap hosting and Cloudflare Turnstile may behave differently depending on account settings. The PHP endpoint uses a short-lived signed request token without a PHP session cookie.
- Changing preferences
- Reopen this interface from any footer. Changes control future widget loads and disable online sending when email-only is selected. Already transmitted information cannot be recalled; refresh to end an existing third-party session. Your browser also provides cookie/storage controls.
This is an implementation inventory, not a claim that the unconfigured live service has been audited. Deployment cookies, security logs and any subsequently enabled analytics need a fresh review.
